First name, last name, email and phone number are all required.
- Use current contact details.
- Check the email and phone number.
- Never use placeholder details.
How much, in what currency.
An amount of at least 0.01, and its currency. Once a branch is chosen, the currency follows it.
- Check the decimal: 500 and 5,000 are very different totals.
- Enter the number only. The currency shows beside it.
What it's for, and where it belongs.
Pick the type of giving and, for organisation-wide users, the branch. Manual donations are recorded as cash, without a campaign or event.

How do I add a donation?
Open Donations, select New Donation, complete the fields and select Create donation.
What is a manual donation?
A gift your team records directly, such as cash handed in. It isn't linked to a campaign or event.
Which fields are required?
First name, last name, email, phone number, amount, currency and donation type. Organisation-wide users also choose a branch.
Which donation types are available?
Sadqah, Fitrana, Zakat, Fidya, Qurbani, Aqeeqah, Kaffarah and Lillah.
How do I find a donation?
Search by campaign, event or donor email, then filter by date range or donation type.
Can I export donations?
Yes, to Excel, CSV or PDF. The export covers every donation that matches your search and filters.
Can I import donations?
Yes, from a CSV file. Only the branch name and amount are required.
I entered the wrong amount. What now?
Fix it before you select Create donation. If it's already saved, edit it from the donation's record, if your role allows editing.
